Shin Splints:  Shin Splints client in this week. Athletic Performance affected for 15years and now no pain after one Bowen treatment.  Treated the body as a whole, without direct work onto site of pain. The wonders of Fascia - a truely neglected tissue in the body, which connects the foot to the knee, to the hip, to the shoulder etc.

Bowen 2010 Conference:  What a huge success the Bowen 2010 conference was.  Speakers included Robert Schleip pioneer in fascia research and Tom Myers founder of Anatomy Trains.  This is the forefront of bodywork and why what we do as practitioners has such an impact on health and performance.  The body is a system of systems and the fascial system plays a big part in integrating them.

Ultra Marathon Winner:  Congratulations to Craig Stewart - winner of the Highland Fling Ultra Marathon Race (53miles).  In his second race of the year comes the second victory finishing in an impressive 7hrs 46mins. Craig has been combining his incredible level of motivation and running training with corrective exercise and running specific strength and conditioning.  With some tough Ultras and quality competition lined up, watch this space for more great performances by Craig in 2010.
